Sri Lanka will keep England guessing until the last minute over the presence of mystery spinner Ajantha Mendis in their team for Thursday's World Twenty20 semi-final.
There was no place for Mendis' curiosities in the Sri Lanka side that beat India on Tuesday to book a return visit to Beausejour Stadium, in pursuit of a second successive place in the final of this tournament.

Kevin Pietersen will have just 20 hours to rest and reacclimatise in the Caribbean before he must switch back on for England in an ICC World Twenty20 semi-final.
But captain Paul Collingwood has no qualms about compromised preparation or jet-lag issues, confident instead that England's mercurial number three will be so invigorated at becoming a father for the first time that his game head will be well and truly on against Sri Lanka.

Board of Control for Cricket in India vice-president Rajiv Shukla has refused to blame a packed schedule and player fatigue for the national team's exit from the World Twenty20.
Yesterday's five-wicket defeat to Sri Lanka in St Lucia - which came hot on the heels of losses to Australia and West Indies in the Super Eights - sealed India's elimination from the competition.

West Indies captain Chris Gayle apologised to the home fans for a "terrible" performance after his side bowed out of the ICC World Twenty20 in tame fashion.
Gayle's side needed a comprehensive win over Australia to have a chance of reaching the semi-finals, but were bowled out for just 105.
