Kevin Pietersen's return to his best is perhaps the biggest success story among many in England's trophy-winning ICC World Twenty20 campaign.
The mercurial number three batsman was named player of the tournament, after he and Craig Kieswetter (63) had shared a century stand to help England trounce Australia in the final at Kensington Oval.

England are the World Twenty20 Champions. Allow me to say that again: "England are the World Twenty20 Champions". It seems a little surreal. But fact it is: they were the best team in the tournament, and they were worthy winners against Australia.
And maybe even more satisfying than the victory is the manner in which it was achieved: this England side was as aggressive, muscular and domineering as previous incarnations have been negative, underpowered and insecure. 11 months ago, England were humbled by Holland at Lord's. How has it all turned around so quickly?
